On this Christmas Day, let's dream a little and imagine a world where...

A thought-provoking Advent calendar

For those of you who have been following my Advent calendar on social media, you'll have noticed that the word you picked up yesterday (December 24) is "Imagine".

Like every day since the beginning of December, the word of the day has been running through my head, prompting me to reflect and become aware of the influence this word has in my life.

Treat yourself to a world where...

Yesterday's word "Imagine" made me dream and imagine a world that brings together all the thoughts of the Advent calendar. So, on this Christmas Day, I'd like to offer us all the right to imagine a world where :

  • We have the courage to be authentic and true to who we are at the core of our being, to say and claim what goes against our vision and values, to follow our path and have a voice.

  • We are open to difference and to others, to our own vulnerability and that of others.

  • We are more free to live fully in the present moment, to release our repressed emotions and consciously choose what resonates most with us (regardless of society's "expectations").

  • We give ourselves the means to succeed, to achieve our goals, to live our vision and to be successful in whatever form it may take.

  • We see and feel more of the beauty that surrounds us and lives in all of us.

  • We have the will to act for our own well-being and that of others, no matter the pitfalls and challenges.

  • We take a closer look at the rays of light that illuminate our path, rather than the dark corners that darken it, as well as those we may sow in the path of others.

  • We focus on abundance that surrounds and fills us, rather than on what we lack.

  • We take pleasure in continually learning and educating ourselves, because it's through education that we can better understand and accept difference.

  • We take pleasure in the little attentions and trivialities of our daily lives.

  • We're not afraid to let new ideas birth and emerge, those that challenge our status quo but also allow us to learn and grow.

  • We take ourselves less seriously and leave more room for play, for our inner child.

  • We show integrity and remain honest with who we are, regardless of the consequences and difficulties that may arise.

  • We find ways to stay enthusiastic and feverish daily in the face of change, novelty and the present moment that life offers us.

  • We remain patient with ourselves and others, and accept that everything happens in its own time.

  • We maintain a certain physical, mental and emotional balance, and recognize the warning signs of any imbalance so that we can remedy it in good time.

  • We have the strength to move forward, to persevere, to believe in ourselves, in others, in humanity.

  • We dare to take a step back when our ideas are muddled or we feel misunderstood, to let the dust settle and allow clarity to emerge.

  • We recognize love in all its forms, from the small daily attentions we receive to unexpected exchanges with strangers, or moments spent with friends, family or intimates, to the sunbeams that illuminate our faces or the birdsong that crosses your path, love surrounds us!

  • We offer ourselves daily moments of calm to let ourselves integrate, become aware, reflect, or simply clear our minds, depending on what we need at the time.

  • We leave more room for inspiration, our inner genius, to follow our vision, our path, our inner voice.

  • We are more serene about our choices, our perceptions, our path, and we accept difference, our own and that of others.

  • We recognize the different forms of brotherhoods we have and what we share in each of them.

The importance of words... for a happy holiday season!

🎄I wish you all a very happy holiday season, however you mark it this year!

May these words make you more aware of the value and importance of the words we use to communicate with ourselves and others.✨
